Program

For the last two decades, computational models combined with large scale transactional data have been used by computational social scientists to explain, predict, and even forecast social phenomena.

The general aim of this satellite (one of the oldest satellite series of CCS, active since 2013) is to address social phenomena emerging over multiple scales, ranging from the interactions of individuals to the emergence of self-organized global movements within the realm of computational social science.

We would like to gather researchers from different disciplines and methodological backgrounds to form a forum to discuss ideas, research questions, recent results, and future challenges in this emerging area of research and public interest.

All the participants of the satellite event (with or without abstract submission) must register for the whole conference or only the satellite event at the Conference on Complex Systems 2021 website. The Early Bird registration deadline is 16th July 2021. The full rate registration remains open until the day of the event.
