Social media guide

The UOC's social media usage and style guide explains all you need to know about how to turn social media to the advantage of the university's strategy.

It includes guidelines on building an identity for channels, defining an editorial line, and making decisions on content and specific communications.

The guide covers the main social media platforms where the UOC is active: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Flickr, Issuu and Slideshare.

Application of the brand

By applying the UOC brand on social media we project a single voice while also displaying the brand and sub-brands' personalities:

  • • The masterbrand and sub-brands each have their own avatars.
  • • All other UOC initiatives use the masterbrand or the corresponding sub-brand.
  • • Our journals and other knowledge areas use their own avatars.
