Call for applications to recruit a co-principal investigator for the Learning Intelligent System project

Experience in research, a PhD and a master's or postgraduate degree in e-learning are required

The eLearn Center opens a call for applications to recruit a co-principal investigator for the Learning Intelligent System (LIS) project. The aim of the LIS project is to develop an adaptive system that can be applied throughout the UOC Campus to help students successfully complete their learning process. The system must be applicable to any course and it must be adaptable and configurable according to the teaching staff's needs and criteria. The project will take an in-depth look at predictive analytics, early warning systems, automatic feedback, gamification and personalized online support and guidance. The project is coordinated by Dr David Bañeres, researcher with the Systems, Software and Models Research Lab (SOM Research Lab).

The successful candidate must have experience in research, and a PhD and a master’s or postgraduate degree in e-learning or a related field, and meet the other requirements set out in the terms and conditions. In particular, they must have led competitive projects and have knowledge of e-learning, e-assessment and adaptive learning, intelligent tutoring systems, automatic feedback and design of technology-enhanced learning systems. The deadline for applications is 12 November.
