Gisela Graena PhD in Second Language Acquisition certificate in statistics and evaluation by the University of Maryland (USA). BA in English with a minor in Linguistics Degree in TEFL (Teaching Ingls a Foreign Language), both from the University of Barcelona and a Masters in Intercultural Communication from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (USA).
He was research associate at the Center for Advanced Study of Language (CASL) and the National Foreign Language Center (NFLC) (University of Maryland) where he worked on projects on language skills, particularly the ability to language learning and the learning tasks. He has been teaching Spanish for foreigners in the University of Maryland Baltimore County and College Maesteg (Wales) Degree in ESOL teacher at George Mason University (Virginia, USA), and assistant professor of English at the University of Barcelona.
Currently working as an English teacher of School of Languages and collaborating on a research project with the University of Barcelona funded RecerCaixa learning about teaching English in primary and secondary proposals.
