Her areas of interest are sociolinguistics and language policy and planning, and, more
specifically, language and identity; language and tourism; language and immigration; new speakers
of minority languages; and comparative language policy analysis.
Member of the Language, Culture and Identity in the Global Age research group, recognised as
an emerging group and funded by the Catalan government’s Directorate-General for Research
(2009-2013).

Projecte de recerca sobre els usos lingüístics del col·lectiu gai, lesbià, bisexual i
transsexual de Catalunya, alongside Dr. Joan Pujolar, Dr. Josep Anton Fernández and Miquel
Strubell (UOC). Commissioned by the Catalan government’s Ministry of Social Action and
