Pere Suau Snchez

Pere Suau-Sanchez es Profesor Agregado de los Estudios de Economa y Empresa de la UOC desde 2019 donde es responsable de asignaturas en el mbito de la direccin estratgica de empresas, digitalizacin, logstica y transporte, tanto a nivel de grado como mster. Es Doctor en Geografa por la Universitat Autnoma de Barcelona (2011), Mster en Gestin Urbana por la Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (2005) y tiene un Postgrado en Prctica Acadmica por la Cranfield University (2014).

Anteriormente ha sido Senior Lecturer in Air Transport Management y de 2014 a 2018 fue Director del reconocido MSc Airport Planning and Management en Cranfield University, universidad con la que an colabora. Desde 2008 a 2010 fue investigador invitado en la Worldwide Scientific Network for Aviation Research and Policy en Amsterdam. Adems, tambin ha trabajado en empresas pblicas, privadas y como consultor independiente en varios pases. La calidad de su actividad acadmica ha sido acreditada por la Agencia de Calidad Universitaria de Catalunya (AQU) y la Higher Education Academy del Reino Unido. Adems, a nivel industrial, est acreditado por el Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transports del Reino Unido.

Sus intereses de investigacin acadmica y comercial son en el mbito de la gestin y la estrategia de aeropuertos, aerolneas y el desarrollo e impacto del trfico areo. Ha participado en varios proyectos I+D en Espaa, el Reino Unido y Noruega, destacando un proyecto de 3 aos del Research Council of Norway sobre el impacto de la digitalizacin en los aeropuertos. As mismo, tambin ha liderado un importante nombre de proyectos de consultora para clientes varios (aerolneas, aeropuertos y gobiernos).

Por otro lado, participa regularmente en congresos y conferencias acadmicas e industriales, como por ejemplo la ICAO-ECAC, Global Airport Development, World Routes, etc. Tambin escribe y contribuye de manera regular a varios medios de comunicacin (La Vanguardia, CNN, Forbes, BBC, entre otros).
