One of the priorities of the university strategic plan is to encourage innovation within the UOC as a system and a culture of ongoing transformation. The challenge is to identify and support the different elements of innovation within the organisation, implementing the mechanisms required to integrate them throughout the University.

Innovation projects: APLICA calls

To achieve this objective of encouraging innovation throughout the entire University, the UOC Vice President’s Office for Innovation has implemented several calls for in-house projects through the Open Innovation Office (O2I). The purpose of these calls is to encourage the emergence of innovative initiatives and projects in all areas of teaching, technology, management and institutional organisation.

Innovation Forum blog

Innovation Forum

The Innovation Forum is an initiative designed to open up an area for exchanging opinions about a specific issue proposed by an expert in ICT management, to promote innovation in education.

Each Innovation Forum will be led by an expert in the subject being discussed, and will be launched at a session held in one of the UOC’s centres. After the launch gathering, a period will be set aside for participating and exchanging views online through the Innovation Forum blog. This second stage will run for two weeks.

On the basis of the topics raised for discussion in the blog, you can add your comments, opinions, suggestions, queries or criticisms regarding the issues discussed.
