The UOC's Economics and Business Studies Department, the MeL (Management & eLearning) research group, the University's eLearn Center and the Journal Intangible Capital present the II Workshop in Business, Economics and e-Learning (BEeL 2014), which will be held in Barcelona on 24 October.

The workshop is intended to foster exchanges of ideas and experiences involving the field in which business and economics meet e-learning, a crossing of paths that encompasses the following subject areas:

The use of e-learning methods to teaching business and economics disciplines at any level of education:


  • Developing interpersonal skills and other generic competences
  • Learning quantitative subjects
  • Working with synchronous communication
  • Experience-based learning: work placements and projects in businesses; recognizing professional experience
  • Simulator use
