Welcome to the UOC’s information website on the Virtual Stay Abroad work package within the E-MOVE project. This project stems from an agreement between various European distance universities to allow their own students to take credits in other distance universities. This particular site is not for UOC’s students; but for students of other universities who wish to study at the UOC. More information about the project can be found at the EADTU’s central website (EADTU is the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities).

The UOC offers to all students of the E-MOVE project two 15-credit modules: 1. Catalan language and literature, and Contemporary Catalan History and Art. Each module contains three separate courses that the student must complete. The UOC classrooms of the Virtual Year Abroad project are Multilingual classrooms. Benvinguts al web d’informació de la UOC sobre la modalitat d’Estades Virtuals a l’Estranger en el marc del projecte E-MOVE. Dins aquest projecte, diverses universitats a distància europees s’han posat d’acord per fer possible que els estudiants cursin crèdits en altres universitats a distància. Aquesta pàgina web NO és per a estudiants de la UOC que vulguin participar en el projecte, sinó per als estudiants de les altres universitats que vulguin estudiar a la UOC. La UOC ofereix als estudiants del projecte E-MOVE dos mòduls valorats en 15 crèdits ECTS: 1. Llengua i literatura catalanes i 2. Història i art contemporanis de Catalunya.
