Program

The seminar will present the preliminary results of the pre- and post-learning surveys. Eve Lamberg argues that although computerized accounting information system (AIS) has replaced manual accounting activities in organizations, entrepreneurship students experience difficulty with the accounting knowledge acquisition resulting in a negative perception. Learning through practice (sometimes referred to as "learning by doing" or "learning by experience") enable adapt relevant learning activities and tools to the student's needs and share learning experiences and achievements.

The research is part of the doctoral thesis of Eve Lamberg, Doctoral Program "Doctoral Curriculum in Management" at the a Estonian Business School (EBS), Estonia, and whose supervision at the UOC is under the responsibility of Dr. Josep M. Batalla, professor of the Business and Economics Studies of UOC and coordinator of the Management & e-Learning (MeL) Research Group.

Eve Lamberg is professor of the Economics and Finance Department at the EBS since 1997. She is professor of accounting for entrepreneurs. In 2009 and 2012 her course "Financial accounting e-course" was awarded by the Estonian e-Learning Development Centre.
