They will be two days to share experiences with the leading specialists in armed and violent conflict resolution. International experts, including Sally Fegan-Wyles from UNITAR, will give details on the peace operations undertaken by United Nations soldiers. There will be debate on sport’s ability to create and resolve conflict, analysis of how to reduce the cost of conflict in organizations and the latest advances in research will be presented.
There are practical workshops scheduled for the afternoon on common resources for conflict resolution, these 45-minute long knowledge pills in Spanish aim to teach people to manage conflicts using play, music and communication over the internet. There are also parallel sessions in English exploring environmental conflicts and looking at the peace process in Northern Ireland.
People registering for the congress before 15 July will benefit from a 20% discount on the registration fee. There are also special prices for students and members of NGOs.
