The IN3 is pleased to invite you to the first session of the series IN3 Interdisciplinary Seminars: "Public participation and communication technology network". This first session will be promoted by the K-riptography and Information Security for Open Networks [KISON] and Communication Networks & Social Change [CNSC] research groups. They will give a brief presentation of two projects led by each group: the project SmartGlacis of KISON and the participation digital platform Decidim project of CNSC.

After the presentations we will open a space for dialogue with the other research groups of the IN3 and the researchers taking part in the session on various aspects that we would like to deal around the analysis of emerging forms of political participation in the digital era: the privacy and security of communications and participation, visualization and open data analysis and access to public information, the open development, the public-common digital infrastructures, the forms of political participation and link with the territory, or other cross-cutting issues.
This series of informal seminars aims to break the dynamics of such serious activities, as well as promote team building and exchanges between research groups from different disciplines in a relaxed atmosphere.
Upon closure of the session, all the UOC professors and researchers are invited to enjoy some refreshments.
