The UOC discusses e-learning's possibilities for access at the EADTU's 2017 Conference

The EADTU's 2017 conference is taking place on 25, 26 and 27 October, and will focus on "Higher education for the future; 'accelerating and strengthening innovation'". Carme Anguera and Guida Fullana, who are in charge of projects for the UOC's Globalization and Cooperation department, will be giving two talks on the opportunities and challenges presented by e-learning when it comes to making higher education more inclusive and accessible and promoting the learning of skills with global and social values.

Carme Anguera will be discussing "Virtual mobility: training professionals and citizens with global and social skills", a talk that will analyse the possibilities online mobility offers for increasing coverage and access. Guida Fullana will talk about the "Opportunities and challenges of using e-learning to improve access to higher education for refugees", based on experience gained from the UOC's scholarship programme for refugees.

This is a conference organized by the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities (EADTU), hosted by The Open University in Milton Keynes (UK).
