Program

Being informed about environmental topics does not ensure a pro-environment behavioral change (Kollmuss & Agyeman, 2002). Therefore it seems to be necessary to reinforce attitudes and values that have been proved to be a predictor of this kind of behavior, such as altruism, affinity to diversity, nature attachment, among others, which are part of the Sustainability Orientation (Corral Verdugo, Diez Martínez-Day, Fonllem Tapia, Frijo Sing, Mireles Acosta, & Márquez Ulloa, 2008). This study analyzes the effect of a pilot training using ICT as a pedagogical tool to promote Environmental Citizenship among young Mexican students.
