The Conference, organised by the IN3 and co-financed by the Catalan Development Cooperation Agency, will take place on 23 and 24 October at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute Building (IN3) located in Castelldefels, Barcelona.
The event seeks to embark on joint reflection, involving actors from developing countries and regions in Latin America and Africa, to study what and how much is known about the real effects that communications technologies (especially mobile phones and the internet) are having on the economic and social development of their populations.
