Alejandro Limpo

Alejandro Limpo is a PhD student at the University of Winchester School of Art (University of Southampton). He will be collaborating with the CareNet research group. His research studies the area of ocean observation from an anthropological perspective. Networked images, online platforms, machine vision and artificial intelligence as key elements through which the ocean becomes a visual space in contemporary science and environmental governance.

University (Australia). She is hosted by Communication Networks and Social Change research group. The goal of his PhD focuses on people-centered data governance in cities.

Mary Ann Danowitz
Professor and dean emerita of the College of Education at NC State. She has received a Fulbright grant to visit the UOC.  Danowitz's project examines how to design inclusive gender equity plans that simultaneously address multiple dimensions of discrimination, how complex interventions produce multiple intended outcomes and unintended consequences, and how to develop and implement effective data tracking strategies and analytic approaches for intersectional analysis.

Andrea Flanegan-Bórquez

Andrea Flanegan-Bórquez is a professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at the Universidad de Valparaíso, Chile. Invited by the research group Gender and ICT (GENTIC), she will work with Dr. Fàbregues during her stay to expand knowledge about mixed methods in European contexts and receive feedback on the methodology and results of the FONDECYT project.

Ricardo Greene Flaten is an associate professor at the School of Architecture at Universidad San Sebastián, Chile. Invited by the research group Care and Preparedness in the Network Society (CareNet), this research visit aims to strengthen the working alliance with the research group, provide feedback on ongoing projects, and discuss possibilities for future endeavors and joint applications for Chilean and European funds.
