Hybrid Algorithms for solving Realistic rOuting, Scheduling and reliability/Availability problems
IN3 Building - November, 9-11
The IN3 organises the 2009 IN3-HAROSA Workshop

This Workshop aims to be an open and international forum for disseminating recent advances in the fields of ?Hybrid Algorithms for solving Realistic rOuting, Scheduling and reliability/Availability problems' (HAROSA). In addition to a technical program, this workshop provides the central meeting place for all members of the IN3-HAROSA Knowledge Community. The 2009 Workshop will feature a comprehensive program ranging from introductory presentations of each research group in the HAROSA KC to meeting forums when future collaborative-research activities will be proposed and discussed. The theme for 2009 HAROSA KC is "HAROSA: A Knowledge Community for doing Distributed and Collaborative e-Researching".

Two specific goals of the 2009 HAROSA Workshop are: (a) to present each HAROSA KC group and to give an overview of the research work that each group is developing on any of the topics of the KC, including: vehicle routing, scheduling, system reliability/availability, collaborative systems, distributed and parallel computing, etc.; and (b) to promote an interchange of ideas and collaboration proposals among researchers of the different HAROSA KC groups, e.g.: specific contribution of each group to the KC work-packages, joint projects´ proposals, co-advisement of PhD thesis, development of joint articles, sharing of computational resources, visiting programs for professors or students, etc.
