ARCA international higher education conference

Carles Sigalés, Vice President for Teaching and Learning, will be taking part in the Encuentro Internacional ARCA de Educación Superior (ARCA international higher education conference), in a panel discussion titled Una mirada a la educación superior desde el futuro (A look at higher education from the future) on Thursday 9 June.

 

Organized by ARCA (Association of Rectors from the Caribbean and the Americas) and the Espíritu Santo University, this event is to bring together leaders in higher education from around the world and offer participants a new international stage on which to present best practices from their universities and organizations in relation to disruptive strategies to achieve competitive success in our global society.

 

The panellists who will join Sigalés are Bruce Sillner, Dean of International Programs at New Paltz State University of New York (SUNY New Paltz); Sarah Malcolm, Executive Director, International Affairs Office of Global Education, Kent State University; and Ana Capilla, Director of Higher Education and Science for the Organization of Ibero-American States.
