Chrysi Rapanta’s CV covers educational psychology and her interests in the role played by cognitive processes in adult learning, argumentation and creativity. Her current research focuses on analysis of the communicative processes leading to the design and development of online courses at distance universities.
In this research seminar, which is aimed at the whole UOC community and which is to be given in English, Chrysi will present part of her doctoral research, focusing on a case study from a distance university. The seminar will have a twofold aim: firstly, to present the qualitative and methodological tools chosen for the analysis of communication relevant to online course design, and, secondly, to comment on the results of this analysis and debate their importance in the field of e-learning.
