Presentation of the book Construint la Catalunya del coneixement (1985-2015)

UOC President and president of the Catalan Public University Association (ACUP) Josep A. Planell is taking part in the presentation of the book Construint la Catalunya del coneixement (1985-2015); Tres dècades que han transformat el país des de les universitats i la recerca científica [Building the Catalonia of Knowledge (1985-2015): Three Decades during which Universities and Scientific Research Have Transformed the Country].

The book, which has been coordinated by ACUP's executive secretary Josep M. Vilalta, has a prologue by the President of the Government of Catalonia Quim Torra and a preface by UOC President Josep A. Planell.

The presentation also involves Àngels Chacón, Catalan Minister for Business and Knowledge, and Josep M. Vilalta, the book's author.

The event includes a debate with the former ministers who have taken part in the book: Andreu Mas-Colell, Carles Solà, Manuel Balcells, Joan Manuel del Pozo, Josep Huguet and Jordi Baiget. The moderator of the debate is Esther Vera, editor-in-chief of Ara.
