"The use of "minor" and "peripheral" in intercultural history"

Maud Gonne, visiting researcher of the research group GLOBALS of the IN3, will moderate an online seminar on the notions of "minor" and "peripheral" on Friday 5 June from 11.00 to 13.30.

The seminar is part of the regular activities organised by the ERC Social Networks of the Past project and proposes the discussion of classic texts by Michael Cronin (Altered States: Translation and Minority Languages, 1995), Françoise Lionnet & Shu-Mei Shih (Minor Transnationalism , 2005) and Immanuel Wallerstein (Historical Originales of World-System Analysis, 2004).
