Pastora Martínez, Vice-Rector for Globalization and Cooperation at the UOC, will participate in the Expert Group on Science 2.0/Open Science of the European University Association (EUA) on behalf of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE). The meeting will take place on February 22 in a virtual format.
The group of experts is responsible for proposing recommendations, drafting documents and interacting with a wide range of interest groups. Priority areas defining the group's work include open access to research publications and data; data mining; data protection regulations; skills and human resources; citizen science, among others.
The Expert Group on Science 2.0 / Open Science was created by decision of the EUA Council in January 2015, with the aim of providing a forum for debate in the area of ??open science and science 2.0. Currently, it is made up of nineteen experts appointed by the national rectors' conferences and two special advisers.
