mHealth BCN Conference 2021

mHealth BCN Conference

The iSYS Foundation, with the support of the UOC's eHealth Center, is organizing the third mHealth BCN Conference, a forum for experts and researchers in m-health interventions. Participating in the event will be the eHealth Center's director, Albert Barberà, and two of his colleagues from the centre, Manuel Armayones and Eulàlia Hernández.

The aim of the 3rd mHealth BCN Conference, which will be held online, is to reflect on the human dimension of m-health. The first round table, "About people and m-health", will discuss topics such as behavioural design and how it can be used to improve the population's health, the aim of PREMs (patient-reported experience measures) and the role of apps in treating addictions. The second round table, "Research in Progress", will showcase what's new in e-health literacy, design thinking and innovation in e-health, and telemedicine in times of COVID-19. As in other years, the iSYS Foundation will close the event by presenting 2020-2021's collection of health apps and the top 5 apps of 2020.

The mHealth BCN Conference is particularly targeted at:

  • Health professionals interested in developing mobile health-based initiatives or interventions.
  • Technology professionals interested in developing health-related projects.
  • Researchers in the field of m-health.
  • Patients.
