Marta Aymerich, UOC Vice President for Strategic Planning and Research, will participate next 25 March and 29 March in two-session workshop organized by J-WEL to support their members in their reflecting on their pandemic-era educational experiments and consideration next steps, including how to integrate them into practice beyond the pandemic. Led by Dr. Anjali Sastry, these workshops invite participants to share their experiences and receive input and feedback from across MIT and the J-WEL member community.
As the pandemic surfaces and creates pressing challenges, universities are responding with new experiments in education. While these projects, programs, and approaches may have launched on the fly, and out of necessity, it is becoming clear that some should remain even after the pandemic ends. To address this work, J-WEL will hold a series of highly-interactive gatherings to reflect on these experiments and determine first steps to integrating them into practice, consider what may need to be redesigned and/or which experiments should be shelved.
