Presentation of the MatchImpulsa programme

UOC President Josep A. Planell will be taking part in a presentation of the MatchImpulsa programme. This is tied to the Barcelona-UOC Chair in Digital Economy for a sharing economy centred on people's well-being and the right to the city.

The Chair seeks to ensure that public policies and city ecosystems can face the challenges of the platform economy. It is run by the Digital Commons (DIMMONS) research group and was created in conjunction by the UOC, Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa.

MatchImpulsa is feminist programme to support the digital platforming of Barcelona's social, solidarity and collaborative economy.

The event will be held in Barcelona City Council's Lluís Companys press room on Wednesday 5 May at 11.15 a.m. (CEST). Other speakers will include City Council official Jaume Collboni, the commissioner for social economy, local development and food policy, Álvaro Porro, and the director of the aforementioned Chair, Mayo Fuster.

It will also be possible to follow it online at https://matchimpulsa.barcelona/.
