Mar Satorras-Grau, postdoctoral researcher and member of the IN3's Urban Transformation and Global Change Laboratory (TURBA Lab) group, will be taking part in the “Climate Emergency. Science responds”, workshops organized by Barcelona City Council's Ecology, Urban Planning and Mobility Area, to be held from 31 May to 1 June this year.
Satorras will be participating, on 1 June, from 10.15 to 11.15 a.m. (CEST), in the round-table discussion entitled Citizens and the climate.
These workshops seek to provide an opportunity for bringing together the scientific community researching climate change, specialists, administrators and politicians involved in formulating plans and public policies, as well as the young, who will be responsible for leading the future of the city. The goal is to make scientists' knowledge available to the public and to work hand-in-hand to provide a response to the climate emergency, particularly in those areas over which the city has powers.
The discussions will be hybrid in nature. Attendance can be in person or online, but prior registration is required in both cases.
