Round table: "Short learning programmes: future prospect for the university system?"

On 16 June, UOC Vice President for Competitiveness and Employability, Àngels Fitó, will take part in a round table discussion entitled "Short learning programmes: future prospect for the university system?" with Mercè Chacón, director general for University and Research Planning at the Ministry of Business and Knowledge, and Màrius Martínez, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and president of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), which is responsible for ECIU University, a European Universities project focused on micro-credentials.

This round table is part of the online seminar entitled "Short learning programmes (micro-credentials): first experience results", organized by AQU Catalunya. The aim of the seminar is to provide an overview of how these programmes work in the European Union and to outline the experience in Catalonia, as well as to discuss the opportunities and difficulties that the implementation of these programmes could entail for the Catalan university system.

Esther Huertas, head of AQU's Quality Assurance Department, will present the first experience results.
