A new eHealth Talks seminars event will be held at 3.30 p.m. on 13 October.
Marisa Merino, Managing Director of OSI Tolosaldea, Vice President of the Signo Foundation and Board Member of the Asociación de Salud Digital (Digital Health Association), will be the guest speaker at the event. As has become tradition, the talk will be moderated by Albert Barberà, the director of the eHealth Center.
In her talk about The Digital Skills of Healthcare Professionals, Merino will reflect on the variation in the digital profiles of healthcare professionals and how to measure digital skills – at both individual and group levels – in order to improve them. "The digital transformation of healthcare is key to addressing the constant changes to which the health ecosystem is subject. However, in order to achieve this, technology must be properly used by professionals, patients and the general public in order to fully realize its potential," explained the expert.
Since these seminars are internal events, attendance is limited to the UOC community.
