Meeting of the President and representatives of Global Foundation for Democracy and Development

UOC President Josep A. Planell is to meet with Global Foundation for Democracy and Development President, Leonel Fernández; Funglode Executive Director, Marco Herrera; IGLOBAL Adviser, José Armando, and Funglode representative in Catalonia, Yazmin Machuca.

Funglode is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to studies and training in the social, political, economic, democratic and international fields in the Dominican Republic. It aims to develop, jointly with other civil society institutions, public policy proposals and action plans that offer national solutions applying a multidisciplinary and holistic approach for the benefit of Dominican society.

Moreover, it has the Global Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (IGLOBAL) focused on Social Sciences and Humanities higher education, including research and continuous education.

UOC Vice President for Globalization and Cooperation, Pastora Martínez, and UOC Director of Globalization and Cooperation, Gemma Xarles, will also attend the online meeting alongside President Planell.
