UOC will participate in CINDA's discussion panel on the 2030 Agenda in universities

Pastora Martínez Samper, Vice-Rector for Globalization and Cooperation at the UOC, will participate in the discussion panel organized by the Centro Interuniversitario de Desarollo (CINDA) on the promotion of the 2030 Agenda in university strategies.

The meeting will be a conversation with representatives of the Open University of Catalonia, Spain; the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile, and the University of the Andes, Colombia. The event will be useful to share experiences of universities in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ). Moreover, it will discuss the university's commitment to the 2030 agenda and the institutional management of the university's policy and actions regarding the SDGs.

The discussion panel will be held on December 7 at 15:30 (Barcelona Time - GMT + 1) and at 11:30 (Chile Time - GMT-3). The format will be virtual and the event will be open to members of the university community and the general public.

The event is part of the series of conferences organized by CINDA to celebrate its 50th anniversary, which aims to offer a look to the future to highlight the contribution of universities to the development of people and societies.
