Against a backdrop of profound transformation triggered by the pandemic, the UOC and the International Association of Universities (IAU) are organizing a series to explore the changes that need to be instigated to improve education for the future. The series will take place over six sessions, called chapters, in which experts from the two institutions will lay out their ideas from different vantage points.
The fifth chapter will look at the social interactions and collaborations that take place in digital environments. The first speaker is Shanali Govender, professor of Academic Staff Development at the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (University of Cape Town, South Africa). She will be joined by Montse Guitert, professor at the UOC Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences.
Moderator: Albert Sangrà, director of the UNESCO Chair in Education and Technology for Social Change (UOC).
Registration is free. The chapters will be recorded and made available for later viewing.
