The world of work is changing rapidly, and we want you to join it with confidence, self-belief and sound judgement. We provide you with the tools you need to make informed decisions, explore career opportunities and be prepared for the challenges of a dynamic and global market.

The Career and Employment Services offer you personalized support, digital tools and specialized guidance to manage your career in the short, medium and long term.

The Career Center, the UOC's main employability platform

The first step is to log in and register with the Career Center, which contains all the guidance and career resources that we offer you as a UOC student or graduate. 

At the Career Center you can:

  • Access the job bank, where you can search for job offers of interest to you and create personalized alerts to find the opportunity that suits you best.
  • Take a look at a specially designed calendar of activities so that you can enhance your career path and develop your skills. The talks and workshops will help you as you look for a job, progress in your professional career or give your entrepreneurship a boost.
  • Use the professional guidance service, requesting an advice session with the team at the UOC's Career and Employment Services.
  • Have easy access to all the information about guidance resources, jobseeking, internships, the job market, grants and entrepreneurship.
  • Explore the profiles of companies which interest you, and consult the repository containing all the corporate information and job offers to prepare your applications and interviews.
  • Receive advice, access a database of professions, learn about experiences and consult many more resources.

GPS Professional: we help you chart your career path

One of the key services is GPS Professional, a career guidance platform that is a pioneer in the field of education, enabling you to recognize your competencies and compare them with those required in the labour market.

This tool aims to guide you in your future career, and is based on self-knowledge to help you make informed decisions. It provides you with a personalized report based on your profile, which aims to help you achieve your professional goals.

GPS Professional is constantly evolving and improving, and new features are being added to support you as you optimize your professional profile.

Online Employment Fair 

The UOC's Online Employment Fair is organized every year. Now in its fifth year, it's a unique opportunity for an average of 4,500 attendees to connect with more than 175 companies, posting a total of 1,800 job vacancies. It's a chance for UOC students and graduates to meet and exchange experiences and knowledge with professionals, companies and institutions. As a member of the UOC community, you have exclusive access to the event, free of charge. By participating, you'll be able to access exclusive job offers and internships, visit the stands of the participating companies and chat with them, do selection interviews with leading companies in different sectors, attend online presentations and talks on employment and trends in the labour market, and expand your network of contacts.

Projecta't Programme 

The Projecta't programme is a personalized career guidance service, subsidized by the Catalan Consortium for Lifelong Learning, and is aimed at workers employed in Catalonia. At the UOC we advise you on how to change your employment situation, improve your professional prospects, enhance your talent, expand your knowledge of the job market and improve your skills and abilities.

UNICAT Ambassadors

If you would like to work at the European Union's institutions, you can do it thanks to UNICAT Ambassadors, a project that builds bridges between European institutions and Catalan universities. It aims to raise awareness of the job opportunities and professional internships that European institutions offer universities through the UNICAT network.

Career guidance for people with special needs

We offer an individual and personalized careers guidance service for people with disabilities, to help them look for employment opportunities and to improve their career development.
