The postgraduate in Macromanagement of healthcare organisations is part of the itinerary of the Master's in Executive hospital management. However, it has been designed as an individual educational unit, consisting of two complementary specialist subjects.
The first is the specialist course on healthcare systems: purchasing and provision of services, which attempts to offer a global approach to health systems, their mechanisms of financing, purchasing and the provision of healthcare services. The second, the specialist course on Executive development of healthcare management, deals with the tools that every healthcare executive, as head of a complex institution, needs in order to manage the latter.
Students of this postgraduate course will obtain comprehensive information on management techniques and tools and on the complex context of healthcare, guided by professionals with extensive teaching and professional experience.
For those who wish, there is the option of carrying out the postgraduate project in hospitals of the network of hospitals associated with the UOC.
