This Specialist course has been designed for exploring digital languages and technologies, and to practise and learn the skills and knowledge related to content creation, interactive communication and multimedia production.
The course covers the dual practical and theoretical dimensions of imaging, design, communication and multimedia technologies. The programme has a strong focus on application: it is based on real cases and incorporates a series of production labs so that students can carry out supervised practicals, develop their project and obtain solid technical training.
The range of subjects was developed to cover various levels of knowledge, providing:
- An integrated perspective of digital content production processes and means, sectors and fields of application and marketing and diffusion strategies.
- An in-depth approach in order to discover the technologies, operating procedures and specific tools for development.
- An analysis of the transformation of certain digital technology industries for an understanding of their impact and applications: leisure, entertainment, culture, communication and education.
In the multimedia profession, we find a range of professional profiles characterised by their versatility, technical knowledge, interdisciplinary training and teamwork experience.
From a disciplinary point of view, we can consider multimedia specialists as professionals whose training encompasses technical, artistic and management knowledge and who specialise in roles such as: interactive scriptwriting, animation, digital video, visual communication, auteur and web programming, sound, management, design and web editing, etc.
