The tasks of translation and maintenance of multilingual versions of documents within companies and organizations are a complex problem that involves several issues, such as treat and transform a variety of formats, the existence of large volumes of text requiring distributed work among different professionals, create and maintain terminology glossaries, use tools to increase productivity and ensure reuse and consistency of work, manage costs, control quality, translating and adapting software, web sites, etc..
This specialization course is an emphasis on tools and free resources and free, but also presents a very careful and thorough one of the tools used in industry: Trados. The course also devotes special attention to manage translation projects. This part presents the main tools and techniques to make a good project management with the aim of training competent professionals in this area.
