The WTO's postgraduate course GTAT. Sustainable development of tourist destinations studies the different areas of knowledge covered by tourism policies applied to sustainable destinations, though focusing its analysis on the prior stage of the definition and planning of the tourist destination.
The postgraduate thus begins with the study of the elements that make up the structure of the tourism system and the instruments available to destination managers for their implementation, before turning to the framework of action of the tourism policy.
The second part of the postgraduate course looks at the practical implementation of the topics studied in the first part, thus adding a dynamic perspective of tourism policy applied to the diverse aspects of management of a tourist destination.
