Duration: March 2015 - March 2016
Tipology: eLearn Center Project
Key words: competences, learning objectives, education and learning, technology in education, educational environment, e-learning, educational model.

The objective of the project is to implement, within the UOC classrooms, a tool that allows the learning objectives to be catalogued in different courses and activities.

MIT has a set of technological services to collect and catalogue learning objectives related to courses,
learning activities and educational resources. Through the Crosslinks tool, MIT faculty staff have
experimented with cataloguing their courses and learning activities in terms of learning objectives.

Based on these tools, the eLearn Center is launching an experimental project in order to add this potential to the UOC classrooms, making it possible to document these relationships in terms of learning activities and resources.

The experiment is based on the hypothesis that, by properly exploring and viewing information relating to learning objectives, as well as how and in what way students deal with the fulfilment of these objectives, it is possible to collect: (1) evidence on the application of the educational model at different levels (subject, program, etc.) and (2) the needs for improvement or the most effective use of educational resources.
