Dissemination and public participation

Research can be publicized through dissemination activities such as:

For more information, write to researchcomms@uoc.edu. If you're involved in any dissemination activities, you can use the same address to provide us with information about them.

There are also grants available for the design and development of dissemination activities from a range of regional, national and international programmes. You can find information on these on the R&I funding grants site*. The information on these calls varies each year, so it is important to consult the Portal and pay attention to the internal bulletin that is sent weekly to the UOC's research staff.

*Alert Exclusive access for UOC research staff. You must log in with the username and password you use to access the Virtual Campus.

Do you need of volunteers for your research?

It's important to highlight the scope of your research and convey the need for participation from the public.

Likewise, it is worth noting that, due to data protection legislation, the UOC requires all funding proposals to have an ethics and data protection protocol. In addition to providing details of the research methods to be used, the protocol must specify how people will be involved in the study, including how the data collected from them will be requested, used, stored and deleted.

For more information, see the Ethics and Data protection section of the Services for research catalogue.
