The Vice-Rector Manel Jiménez-Morales in the Unisabana Innovation Week for Learning

Manel Jiménez-Morales, Vice-Rector for Alliances, Community and Culture at the UOC, has been invited to be the keynote speaker at the Unisabana Innovation for Learning Week, with a conference that will take place on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Universidad de la Sabana in Chia, Colombia.
 
In order to make the most of his stay, Vice-Rector Jiménez-Morales will also attend this event, from June 5 to 7, aimed at the academic community of the Universidad de la Sabana and in with around 400 of its professors and directors. The Universidad de la Sabana is also interested these days in talking with Vice-Rector Jiménez-Morales in various settings about the process of institutional transformation that he leads, the competency-based education promoted by Bologna, and his experience in the transition process towards a curricular design based on competencies and good practices that could be taken into consideration for the academic transformation in this university.
 
On the other hand, the second part of his stay in Bogotá, in which he will be accompanied by the Director of the UOC's Globalization and Cooperation Area, Gemma Xarles, and Helena Loaiza, UOC’s Director for Linkage and relationship with the community for Latin America, the Vice-Rector Jiménez-Morales will dedicate it to an institutional agenda at UOC Colombia, which will count with the following program:
 
- Meeting with some of the universities that are part of the Redunete
- Meeting with about 10 people from the UOC community in Colombia: PDC, Alumni and students.
- Meeting with the UOC team.
- Visit to the Universidad del Rosario to learn about the impact of the digital transformation scholarship for institutions that won in the last edition.
