On the 10th and 11th of April 2024, the UOC will host a visit from a delegation of the DHBW Mosbach University from Germany. This university specializes in the dual education model, characterized by the close integration of academic training and professional practice.
The delegation, led by Professor Kay Berkling, will be received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Alliances, Community, and Culture, Manel Jiménez, as well as other members of the UOC, such as Virgínia Sánchez, Enric Espejo, José Torre, Quelic Berga, Carme Pagès, Anna Calvo, Ricard Hortigüela, Cris Cirona, Marta Borràs, and Mitchell Peters.
During their visit, relevant topics such as micro-credentials and the dual education model will be discussed, along with the DHBW Mosbach's experience as a member of the EU4DUAL European alliance.
DHBW Mosbach leads the Erasmus+ Micro-credential Exchange (MCX) project, in which the UOC also participates, and it is a full partner in the Erasmus+ Agile Continuous Education 4 Industry 5.0 project, led by the UOC from the UPAL.
