As part of his visit to the eLearn Center from 17 to 21 September, Dr Lawrence Ragan will offer the workshop “Online Teaching Presence Matters: How to Manage it?”, open to the whole education community.

Dr Lawrence C. Ragan is an expert in the design of online education and faculty development in e-learning. His current areas of research includes the articulation of strategies, techniques and methods that faculty can use to manage their online teaching workload, quality and the definition of the core competencies required for online teaching success.

As a communicator, Dr Lawrence Ragan is a frequent guest speaker in many international conferences, workshop facilitator and leader of faculty work groups, researchers and managers of different institutions about instruccional design and multimedia development.

This workshop is part of the series "New learning contexts in the digital age", organized by the eLearn Center thanks to the support of the program Internationalisation at home of the La Caixa Foundation.
