Opening ceremony of the academic year 2016 - 2017

The President attends the opening ceremony of the Catalan university system academic year that will take place at the Paranimf of the historical building of the Universitat de Barcelona.

The ceremony is to be chaired by Carles Puigdemont, president of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and it will count with the participation of both the president of the Universitat de Barcelona, Dídac Ramírez, and the acting president of the Social Council of the UB, Joan Coromines. There will also be present the minister of Business and Knowledge, Jordi Baiget, and the presidents of the Catalan universities.
