Inaugural lecture “The University in the information age”, by UOC professor Manuel Castells.
Other participants in the inauguration event will include the President of the Board of Trustees of the Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Pere Vallès; the President of the UOC, Josep A. Planell; and the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Carles Puigdemont, who will officially inaugurate the academic year 2017-2018.
As usual, the Jaume Vicens Vives awards to Quality University Teaching will be given during the celebration of the event.
