The third session of “Harmonic Series”, a series of dialogues between artists, scientists, technologists and thinkers in the city which aims to present some creators and their artistic ideas, reflecting collectively on the major questions of the day, in short, about our place in the world.
Mathematics is present in both the arts and the sciences, implicitly or explicitly, just as it is in life and nature, waiting to be discovered. Mathematics is the language of science, but the computer code has become the language of our time. Alba G. Corral, Maria Antònia Huertas, José Manuel Berenguer and Sònia Fernández-Vidal, the artists and scientists taking part in this four-way dialogue, will speak about mathematics, geometry, programmes, programming and data visualization, and music and quantum physics.
