Gemma Carrera, Maria Taulats and Elena Rodríguez to take part in the 17th Almagro Forum

Gemma Carrera, Deputy General Manager for Teaching, Maria Taulats, Director of Planning and Quality, and Elena Rodríguez, Director of the Office of the Vice Presidents, are to take part in the 17th Almagro Forum organized by the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Almagro, Ciudad Real, on 7 and 8 November.
 
This year's forum is to focus on Accreditation and Excellence of University Qualifications. Since it began in 1997, the forum has been designed to foster reflection and the sharing of ideas on how to improve quality at universities. The forum is usually attended by representatives from Spanish universities, quality agencies and the ministry responsible for developing university policy.

The forum lasts two days and will include a keynote session with José Manuel Pingarrón, General Secretary for Universities at the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, a number of working sessions on accreditation, international seals, lowering drop-out rates and monitoring graduates, and a closing session with José Arnáez, Director of the Spanish Quality Assessment and Accreditation Agency (ANECA). There will also be time set aside for debate, discussion and group work.
