Program

Summary

The aim of this seminar is to give an update on the work Lucía Campanella is doing as part of the postdoctoral fellowship Marie Sklodowska-Curie through a review of the objectives, workflow and promised outputs as stated in the research proposal.  She will also discuss the technical challenges involved in using digital humanities tools to identify and search literary translations in the political press. The seminar's goal will be to provide some useful insights into the challenges of using new methodologies in a time-sensitive research project, and hopefully some interesting insights for those thinking of applying to the MSCA.

Lucía Campanella

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain), where she conducts the Anarchist Translation Flows and World Literature Project (ARGOT). Her current research focuses on the intersection of literature and politics, through the study of the circulation of literary translations in the anarchist press in different cities and languages at the turn of the twentieth century.
