From 16 to 19 March 2026, the UOC will host the first UOC International Staff Week, an international meeting promoted by the OpenEU Office at the UOC and the Area of Alliances, Community and Equity.
For four days, the event will bring together professionals from partner universities in Europe and Latin America at the UOC Campus (U Building), and will feature the participation of UOC teaching and research staff, management staff, and researchers.
In total, 34 sessions are scheduled to share the University's experience and knowledge, exchange innovative initiatives, and promote collaboration in the field of digital higher education.
Under the slogan "Connecting knowledge, alliances, and technology for the future of higher education" the Staff Week will offer keynote speeches, workshops, panels, and debate spaces on the UOC's augmented educational model, pedagogical innovation, the ethical and pedagogical use of artificial intelligence, and interoperability in higher education.
The event will be opened by the UOC Rector, Àngels Fitó, and the Commissioner for International Action, Pastora Martínez Samper, and will include the Vice-Rector for Alliances, Community and Culture, Manel Jiménez, together with the Commissioner herself, in the institutional closing.
